We went to the gym for their Trunk or treat again this year

Pumpkin Patch Time

A church near the house has a big pumpkin patch each year. 

 Andra has been asking for everyday to go (we pass them on our way home each day)

 so we stopped and took a few pictures and picked out a few pumpkins

All Andra wanted was to have her face painted

 and jump in the bounce houses 

she got to do both, play a few games and have funnel cake

Riverwalk

Tonight we went down to the Riverwalk.  Living in SA has advantages!

First it was dinner at Pete's Teko House and then a walk down to the north part of the Riverwalk.

 Andra wanted to see fish.  Fish in the SA river can sometimes be hard to find but we did find some.

we were too early to see them in their night time light

 Then to the SA museum of art

 part of the museum use to be the Lone Star Brewing Co.

It was a fun night and a good way to forget about the worse UT game in a while.

Sea World fun

Andra had off for Columbus Day so we went to Sea World

We meet P there for part of the day. Andra and P go to school together and P leaves around the block.

 Andra was so happy to have a friend there to play on all the playscapes. 

I loved that we got to hang out with P and her Mom and still have so time with just the two of us.

Siclovia fun

Siclovia is an event that I am part of with the City of SA and the Mayor's Fitness Council.  It is a great event to try and get everyone playing.  It blocks off 2.5 miles of a major street in SA, from the Alamo to the Zoo, for people to play in the street.  There are different Reclovias along that way that offered free classes - ranging from Zumba and boot camp to Yoga to play zones and info centers.  It is a great event for the whole family.  This year it was 20 degrees colder then last year when we had it the first week in October, but it was still fun !

We rode from the house down to the Alamo.

We borrowed a bile trailer from one of Andrew's coworkers because Andra could not make it from the house but is too big for the seat on the back of Andrew's bike.

 Andra had fun.

It was great family fun and if you want to join us the next one will be April 7, 2013.

Great game...bad ending

When we left SA it was 80 but by the time we got to the tailgate it was 67 outside
