Fun Tailgate.....not a fun game

We had a great time at the tailgate. There was great food and fun.

Then Andra and her Tata on a walk. We all got to take a walk with Andra. It was a way to keep her out of the pool.Some of my cousins. Dr. Eddie is the aggie in white, Mark (Andra's Godfather) is in the center, and Steph is a UCLA grad at her first UCLA game. Andra and her Daddy.We had a great time with family and friends. I love looking at similar pictures taken a year apart. These pictures are at tailgates each year. In the first one it is my Uncle Jim, my dad (holding Andra) and Andrew. They are the 3 most important men in my life and I know they will be important in Andra's as well.

Andra loves Bebe, the cat. Bebe not so much but he really wanted some love so he dealt with Andra love.

I watch for a while then saw Bebe's ears go back so he went up into his cat condo.

Andra's birthday gift

Andra's birthday gift from us was a train/play table. Our neighbor made it for us and Andra loves it. This best part is that he made a "top" for the table that makes it look like a "normal" coffee table because yes, our play area IS our living room. Andrew set up a new track for her to play with.

TV time and reading time

Just playing around with the camera this week here at that house When I go make dinner, I put Thomas or Wounder Pets on. This is how Andra likes to watch TV.
We move back and forth After getting ready for bed Andra wanted to sit with her doll on the chair. This doll use to be my sisters and then it was mine; and now it is Andra's. Andrew dislikes this doll because he says she is scary. So her hair is a little messy and her eyes do not always work; Andra loves her. After I read Andra and doll a book, Andra wanted to read to her doll. It was so cute!

She went page by page, "reading" the book, pointing things out and even stopping so doll could ask questions

Happy and Healthy

We went for Andra's 2 year appointment today. The Doctor said she is a happy healthy toddler with mad skills :) She is 32.8 inch tall (20% for height) and 26 lbs (35-40% for weight)! She can jump and even jump from one foot to the other; she loves to dance and "do" ballerina (turning with her arms in 5th position and sometimes in 4th). We have be doing some yoga for kids and she loves it. She is doing very good at school and has made new friends, that she talks about by name when she gets home. She loves Thomas but puzzles, and dolls are still high on the list. She tried to play "Duck, Duck, Goose" with the dogs and dolls and got upset when they would not chase her; even saying " I said Goose!!". She loves to give hugs and kisses and tells you where to sit to play dolls. I could go on and on because I am her mother and I love her so much. While Thomas still reigns King she is loving her new doll house and farm she got from Andrew sister Heather and family and Andrew's brother (who is home from Iraq!!!) and his wife Jennifer. The dress she has on was made with love from my Aunt Judy!

Labor day Swim fun!

On Saturday we headed to C and Z's to watch the game and swim. I forgot the camera, so pictures are from the iphone. Football or swim for Andra it was an easy choice.

We were in and out of the pool most of the afternoon. It was a great set up to watch the game because we could see the TV from the pool. Andrew worried about Andra's 2 piece swimsuit.

Then on Sunday we came back to swim some more and C and Z put the waterfall on for her.
Then on Monday the Rain came in.

She has mastered The Sign

and she even says "Hook em" . This is also the answer to

Rainforest Cafe

On Saturday we took Andra to the Rainforest Cafe on the riverwalk. She was a little unsure of it all at first but then was happy with it.
