Late birthday celebration

Andra had a late birthday celebration at school today

Lunch with Wela and Tata and the cupcakes with the class

 

Happy Birthday Andra! First Day of School !!

Andra is now in the 2nd grade !

 Andra and our neighbor Julian. He is in 1st grade!! I went to school with his dad (who was also a grade below me) and that is about what we looked like next to each other in school and now.

 That night we went to the Magic Time Machine for dinner; Andra's choice.

 It was her first time there. I think the last time I went was when I was in Jr high school.

 We all had a great time

Aimsley Helen was baptized at church today

 Her Godparent are Ramon and Norma.

They are the kindest, most loving people that we know.

  It was a very blessed day. Thank you for all who came out to celebrate!

Reading time

 I love it when Andra reads to Aimsley.

To me it is an awesome way for them to bond.

It is made even more special that I do not have to tell Andra to read to Aimsley and that sometimes it is in English and sometimes it is in Spanish

Beach Time!

Each year we take a family vacation to the beach with my parents and my sister's family.

 We have taken this picture each year we have gone.  The first time we went, Andra was 3! It is great to see how they have all grown.

We spent some time in the pool as well as the ocean.

 Aimsley had fun too, just not in the water.

She took "walks" on the beach 

 A BIG thank you to Wela who spent time with her in the condo so I could have time on the beach with the kids

We did have a lot fun and I am glad that Tropical storm Bill stayed away until we got home.
