Happy Birthday Chase!

Chase turned 3 ! We got to go up to Amanda and Greg's on Saturday to celebrate! Andra had a blast with all her cousins. Andra even ate some cheese enchiladas that Amanda made. Happy Father's day!

We spent today driving back from Frisco and I did not get a picture of Andra in her "Daddy t-shirt" with her Daddy but we did give Andrew lots of loves and hugs all day. Thank you Andrew for being a GREAT dad and husband!

Andra loves to swim

Andra got to swim almost everyday on vacation and she was so happy about that. She has gotten better at blowing bubbles and kicking. At Andy and Monica's pool there was a big part that was only 4in deep. She would say "I swimming, I swimming!!!" it was so cute!! Andra splashing

Fun trip!

Last week Andra and I went to Tyler to visit my parents. I did not get many pictures but we had a great time! We went to Tata's school and got to meet many people, went to the pool and walking trails in addition to reading and playing at home.

From there is was off to Frisco. The first night there Andra and I meet Jennifer and Sarah (high school girlfriends of mine) for dinner. It was great to see them and I wish we could do it more often.

We stayed with Andy and Monica (Andy and Andrew went to high school together) in Frisco. It was fun to be back in there area but it has changed so much. Then Andrew flew in on Friday night. We had alot of fun but once again I forgot the camera on many of our adventures. I did take it one of the times we went to the pool. Here Monica was helping keep Andra stay out of the pool till we could get in the water.

Andrew and Andra in the play area. On the first day we went the water was on and Andra was not impressed. We also went to a splash park, and Andra did not like that either. I think if her cousin or a friend was there she would have been ok but she did not have anyone to follow so she just watched the other kids and held on to Mom or Dad.

We had a great time!

Thank you to everyone we got to see. Andra had fun being on vacation; Monday and rules are going to be tough.

Texas Folklife Festival

One of the best parts of San Antonio is the MANY family events going on. This weekend was Texas Folklife Festival. I remember going as a kid and having a blast. Andra having more sugar then she as ever had in her life!
At folklife they have different shows and food from all over the world.

Here are just a few of the things we saw.

Chicago!!

LUNCH!! We always go to Pizzeria Uno when we are in Chicago! It is great pizza. Andra had so much fun on the train that she feel asleep as soon as we got downtown.

While I love Pizza Uno I am glad that there is not one in SA. Each personal pizza has about 750 kcal but it is so worth it. It helped that Andrew and I walked 21,720 steps per my pedometer that day.Another one of our favorite Chicago stops :) I love downtown Chicago too!!the Shedd Aquarium is one of the best aquariums we have been to. Andra had so much fun.

Elmhurst is a suburb of Chicago. I love it there. Andrew's grandmother lives in Elmhurst and it is only 20-30mins to my aunt and uncle's house. The movies in Elmhurst

Andrew and Andra on the Prairie Path. The Prairie Path is a trail about 66miles long. You can take it to Michigan if you want!

Each time we come visit I try and figure out how we can move to Elmhurst. Then Andrew reminds me of the snow and cold of winter in Chicago. I still LOVE Chicago and Elmhurst but i think we will continue to just visit.
