Christmas Tree

I enjoy Thanksgiving and we have a strict "no Christmas till after giving Thanks" rule in our house. That said I LOVE Christmas time. I love the songs, family time and everything Christmas. So as soon as possible we go shopping for our Christmas tree. I can remember going with my parent to look at trees and I am so happy to continue this tradition with Andra. Yes it means I have a headache and can not breath for a month, but I love having a real tree.

What a great game!!! Wish I could have been there, but had a great time watching it with family. A Perfect ending to a great Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving

We went to my grandmother's for Thanksgiving this year. It was a great day of family fun.

Here is Grandma (will be 100 in March!!!!) with just some of her great-grandchildren.

Texas Game

Jim and Alba were nice enough to invite us to watch the Texas vs texas tech game. We have had other offers earlier in the season but because of my leg we had not been able to go.

When I was at UT I was in Alpha Phi Omega. They are the community service fraternity that runs the Texas flag out on the field at each game. It was one of my favorite activities. Today they celebrated that tradition! Andra climbed into Herb's lap; not that she knew who he was but he was nice enough to let Andra sit with him for awhile

It was a great game and day!

Happy Halloween!

Andra was a Happy Butterfly tonight!

(She was Minnie Mouse for her school party but I did not have my camera) We went trick-or-treating to a few houses
I think it is because we only go to friend's houses but, Andra kept going into the houses.

Then it was off to S and C's for some treats.
