Birthday day!

Andra is 2!!! I just can not believe it. She wore her Thomas dress to school today where they made her a crown and sang to her. Then tonight I made her favorite dinner and we gave her a cupcake! and then we sang to her....

Day one of the New School!

Andra started Montessori school today! She did so good!

S, C and I drove past a few hours into the day (yes, on our way to work) and the kids were outside playing. The first time we drove by we could not see her so we went back around the block. When we got back to the play area the kids we in line with their class, Andra’s class age is 2-4. Yes there she was; about 4+ inches shorter then everyone. There are other 2 year olds in the class but I guess they are taller :) Andra is the youngest in her class, as the cut off to be 2 was Sept 1st.

We got to see Amanda and the kids while we were in Austin us trying to get all the kids together for a pictureDinner on the patio at Jim and Alba's " Anything the big kids can do so can I!"Then it was off to the lake

Lake fun

No fear! This is Andra looking out over the front of the boat. Yes the boat was moving, yes I had a hand on her and the lake was VERY calm; but look, see her hair in the wind :) This is what Lake Travis looked like when I was growing up. I have been going out there with my aunt and uncle for as long as I can remember. I wish more of the lake looked like this cove now. I have great memories of it and hope that Andra will have some of the same great memories; just without the boat wreck. Too bad the boat is not orange anymore :)

Andra was so good on the boat and in the water. She even asked to go potty and "held it" until we got her jacket and bathing suit off and she was able to use her travel potty on the boat.

Church potty

We go to 7:30am mass. It is not your normal Catholic group and we sit in the 3 or 4th row. Well, today Father Kevin had a great homily about what is really important in life. I missed most of it because Andra had to go potty (Andrew and Alma told me about it, jokes and all). Well, the priest was just done when we got back to our seat, so the church was quite till Andra announced, "I potty!" nice and loud. We got a few chuckles out of the rows around us.
