Sea World fun

We went to the water park this time! Andra had a blast! She loved the water slide and wave pool the best.

Back in Texas

I will be up dating the blog over the next few days. We were in California from the 15th till today. We had a great vacation!! I will try to limit the pictures as we took over 1000. We had such a great time in San Diego, LA and Long Beach. Thank you Alma for taking care of our furry kids and thank you Terry, Bryan, Heather, Brian, Charlotte and Mason for letting us invade your houses.

Our day in LA

We spent one day in LA with my cuz who is an actress there but is getting ready to leave for grad school in England. She was nice enough to take us to all the tourist things. We met the Kodak theater and then went to the Grauman's Chinese Theater and the "Stars" around it.

I LOVE Angela Lansbury! Steph had to look up on her phone to see where it was. I am sure she thought it was going to be a long day that that point : )

then it was off to lunch!

no, she did not take us there, but "birds" was right across the street

One of the best things about our trip was that we did not eat at any chain restaurants (except our one trip to In and OUT). We ate local and it was soooooo good.

Then she took us to get a good look at THE sign

We then went on all the big roads Santa Monica, Sunset, Hollywood and ended up in and then off to Rodeo drive.

as we walked Andrew just stopped and told me I HAD to get a picture of this car. Mind you he had said this a few times on this trip and I had no idea what he was talking about. I missed pictures of the electric Tesla and an old Shelby Cobra. If you do not know this is a Bugatti Veyron (aka 1.2 Million!) and later in the day we say another one driving around. If Andrew got the car then I could shop here:Then we were off to Universal Studio.

Tar Pits

On our first day in the Long Beach we headed to the Tar Pits and museum Very cool

Cousin Love

When we got to Andrew's sister (Heather) house Andra was so happy to see her cousins. I snapped this picture inside Mason Cars tent. It did not stop. When we left she kept saying "I do not want to leave this house"

you guessed it...a big wave came in and pushed her down on her bottom

she got up again and you guessed it..it happened again.

She cried and was upset but got over it

she agreed to go to the ocean again if she had her bathing suit on

no pictures of it all because Andrew and I are good parents and went to help her not take a picture of it

(we went to the wave pool at sea would and she loved it; we will be going to the Texas coast soon. and yes I know it will be NOTHING like the California coast)

drive to Long Beach

We had to go at least once :) we drove Highway 1 along the shore line thou lots of small towns. It was a nice drive.

Andra ate avocados every day we were there. When we left to go to Long Beach we picked some up from a local farmer 25 for $5!!!!!

Safari day

On Sunday we headed to the San Diego Zoo Safari park.

It was an amazing place. I took so many great pictures. Yes, if you see the car you can drive through part and the animals are just roaming around just like a safari. Andrew, Terry (his Mom), Brian and Andra
