last zoo day...till next year :)

We made a family trip to the zoo today. It was the first time we let Andra play with the cats at the front gate. This is for all the people who think I do not let Andra eat sweets!

Christmas !

Christmas day is spent at our house! Family comes over and we eat and eat and play and play. We watch basketball, football and kids playing with toys; and then we eat some more. Tamales, rice and beans, cookies and pecan pie bars and margaritas!!! It was a great day filled with love and joy! Thank you everyone who made Andra so happy with your generous gifts.

Christmas Eve

We started our Christmas celebration at 4:30 mass. Andra loved all the extra music and singing. We then headed over to Alma's house and Andra continued to dance. After we ate it was great to listen to all the "old"stories.
Then Andra wanted to help clean up :)

Then it was Andra's favorite part........ handing out the gifts...she loves to be a useful engine...

Our family did a white elephant gift this year and Alba got this silver pig. I was next to pick a gift but ....

it now sleeps on out nightstand (only because we will not let it in the crib) and get carried around all day.

Party 3 of last Sat

We ended our very long day with Andrew's company Christmas party. I think we were home for about 30mins from the time we left the house at 10 till 9am.

We had a great time; great food and dancing!

Thank you Mom and Tata for babysitting a very tired Andra.

Andra's cousin Cici had her 2nd Birthday party on Sat. "Come on everyone lets get ready for some pancakes" (what Andra calls cupcakes)

Twins are 10!

On Sat we went to Austin for Madeline and Harrison's 10th birthday.

My parents were in for a week before Christmas! It was great to have them here for so long and to do great San Antonio Christmas things. One night we went down to the river for a river boat ride. One of Andra's favorite thing to do. My parents as we started the ride

Mr Snowman got a friend

We were at Home Depot and saw that Thomas was 50% off and to my surprise Andrew said we could get him. Andra was soooooo happy! See Mr Snowman came to live with us when my parent we moving up to Tyler. Andrew was not all that happy but Andra liked him so he stayed; and this year got a friend.
Then Andra started helping with the leaves :)

Christmas Party Day!

Andra had her Christmas Party at school today so I thought I would snap her picture in front of our tree before we left. Here she is saying "Cheese".

Andra's class (ages 2-4 in Montessori school) sang three songs; this was the first.

Then as they all left the stage Andra stayed behind and did her own number till the teacher came and got her off the stage :)

Andra dislikes pants and loves dirt..... makes for some dirty tights and dress but a very happy girl.

1st time

This weekend was the first time she has ever fallen asleep eating.

Yep see takes everything off her cheese pizza and eats just the soft part if the crust. She did eat her carrots but woke up Sunday hungry.
