We had to give the tree time to "fall". The problem was that we were not decorating the tree fast enough so Andra kept putting stuff in the tree. Necklaces, bracelets, stuffed animals, ect anything. On Sunday evening we finally decorated the tree with ornaments. 
She had a great time running around with my Nutcrackers; yes all 25 of them. Some I had to freak out at (breakable -"Andra can you bring that to Mommy please") but others it was fun to see her play with them.
