Today was my first Mother's day with Andra. The best part of the day was that we spent it like most Sundays but I got cards and a beautiful necklace with Andra’s birthstone. Our normal Sunday is 7:30 mass, breakfast and then to HEB. Then home to feed Andra and then off to any other errands we have to do for the weekend. That is how we spent today and I could not have been happier. Sunday is always family day, and that is what makes me so happy as a mother and a wife. I did take the day off from grading and took some time to make a pie. I am so blessed to be able to breastfeed Andra so that is truly the best mother’s day gift I could get. Do not get me wrong I love the necklace that Andrew got me but each time I get to feed Andra (today and everyday) it reminds me how special being a mom is and how grateful I am that God blessed us with Andra.

Glad you had a great day. I can't believe you make it to a 7:30 mass. Andra must be an early riser. We are 11:15 service people :-)
