9 months

We had Andra’s 9 month appointment today. She weights 16.1 lbs (10%), is 26 ¼ inches long (10%) and her head is 18in in diameter (90%). She has been growing on the same curve (10%, 10%, 90%) so all is great.

She is very in to feeding herself. Avocado, apricot, tofu, sweet potato and anything else she can mush between her gums and teeth.

Happy Mother's day

Today was my first Mother's day with Andra. The best part of the day was that we spent it like most Sundays but I got cards and a beautiful necklace with Andra’s birthstone. Our normal Sunday is 7:30 mass, breakfast and then to HEB. Then home to feed Andra and then off to any other errands we have to do for the weekend. That is how we spent today and I could not have been happier. Sunday is always family day, and that is what makes me so happy as a mother and a wife. I did take the day off from grading and took some time to make a pie. I am so blessed to be able to breastfeed Andra so that is truly the best mother’s day gift I could get. Do not get me wrong I love the necklace that Andrew got me but each time I get to feed Andra (today and everyday) it reminds me how special being a mom is and how grateful I am that God blessed us with Andra.

The wave

Andra can now wave. You get the same for hello or goodbye. And it is a whole arm movement and not limited to just the hand. It is very cute. Here is video of it from Jim and Alba’s.

Garrett's B-day party

Then on Sunday we went over to Katy's for Garrett's 5th Birthday party. It was alot of fun but I did not get many good pictures.

Swimming at C and Z's

After the Farm to Market we went over to Suzel and Carlyon’s for a swim. We had a great time. This time we all went in the water. We had so much fun. Andra had a blast. She liked floating around and just swimming with dad.

Look a picture of me. Can you believe it and not even a very good one. After we swam for awhile Andra ate and took a 10min nap. When she woke up Andrew took a picture of us.

Then we took some time to dry off. When we did finally leave Andra took a 45 min nap. To some this would be short, for Andra this is a massive nap.

Great Weekend!!

We had a great weekend! I wanted to do anything but grade so we did. We started by going to the Farm to Market, but I forgot my camera. I forgot it because before we left I took this picture.
