Family Day

On Saturday we spent the day at his Mom's house with his sister and kids. Char and her grandma

San Diego Zoo

On Thursday we were off to the San Diego Zoo! It is an Amazing Zoo.

I included a few pictures of the animals we saw not even 1/10 of the different ones we saw. If you go bring your walking shoes or hiking boots; definitely got our hill workout in that day. First up

I have never seen such a diversity in turtles. Andra was excited to see different so many different Tucks.Family shot! Andra was a little sick of taking pictures but was having a great time. Love Andrews hat? It is new because he burnt his head at Legoland.The petting zoo was fun.

it was a great trip to the zoo we even saw two brown bears get in a tussle but i got that on video so no pictures.

Legoland

On our first full day, we meet every one at Legoland. This place was amazing Andra with Grandma and Grandpa Shaw

We spent the first part of the vacation in San Diego with Andrew's Mom and step Dad Bryan.

Yep, we are wearing sweaters! Left SA it was 100 degrees when we got to San Diego it was in the low 60s...crazy!

the start to a great vacation and Andra did great. On the day of our travel Andra woke up at 5:30am (yep that is normal) and went to sleep at midnight Texas time. No nap, no break downs. She did want to lay down at dinner but we were at a table not a booth so we gave her the itouch and she was good till we all finished (and we did as fast as we could). She then fell asleep as soon as we put her in the car; and yes she was awake at 5:30 Texas time the next day but we got her to go back to sleep till 6am California time.

Andra and I go to a swimming pool/sprinkler park for some water fun Today Andra found a little boy to play with
it was very cute to see them play together

This is her favorite water center!

no swimming pictures because...well like I said Andra and I were there alone. Andra has so much fun in the pool with a noodle, kick board or just splashing around. The only negative is that there are big slides for kids to go down but Andra is too small or at least the lifeguards and signs say she is; she does not think so.

Last week Andra had her first lessons by herself. This was her first swimming lesson without her parents in the water. It was just her and another little boy. The poor instructor and two opposites in one class. Andra would not stay on the steps and the other little boy would not get his hair wet.

She did so good on her own. While she still needs to work on listing to the coach (in the pool or in the gym) she did good at the skills, just not so good at sitting still.


She is just getting so big :(
