Christmas tree shopping

We went Christmas tree shopping today. Yes Andrew is wearing shorts. For those not in San Antonio it was 75 degrees and sunny. We got a great 7ft fraser fur for Andra first Christmas tree.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We went to Jim and Alba’s in Austin for turkey and all the trimmings. It was great fun to see the family. Thank you Aunt Katy for the great Thanksgiving outfit.

Andra is 3 months old!

Andra's baptism

Andra was baptized today. We want to thank everyone who came and especially Mark Phillip and Alma for being her godparents.

Andra rolled over

Andra rolled over yesterday and again today. She rolled from her tummy to her back over her right shoulder and her left!

She has gotten so big

We were trying to get a picture of Andra laying down on Andrew chest to compare it to one we had of her when she was 4 days old but we could not get her to stay still.

She use to fit inside the boppy but not so much anymore. This picture is from last week so she was 11 weeks old.

Busy weekend

We had a fun and busy weekend full of visitors. On Friday we went to lunch and a walk with Judy and Don, my Aunt and Uncle from Illinois. On Saturday Amanda and family, my Mom, Judy and Don and the three of us went to Breckenridge and the Japanese Tea Garden for a picnic and walk. Then on Monday Andrew's Mom and step Dad came in to see Andra as well. It was a great time with everyone. We only wish we would have had more time with everyone.

Andra is now smiling in response to us and just about anything else. She is even starting to squeal and giggle. It is great!

Andra loves to be swaddled. We cheat and use swaddles blankets that have velcro to keep her all wrapped up all night.

2 months

Andra is two months old today!

And for her birthday we went to the doctors and she got shots. I think they were as painful for me as they were for her; we both cried. She was fine the rest of the day, as long as you did not press on her legs.


Our little girl now weighs 9 lb 7.5 oz (11%) is 22in long (25%) and has a 16in head (75%).
The cat and both dogs still out weigh Andra. Yes I know, Dundee will out weigh her for a long time.

Pumpkin patch time

We went to the pumpkin patch with some friends this weekend. Kids are so cute. Why is it the little kids always love babies. Here is Garrett with Andra.

Happy birthday Greg!

Happy Birthday Greg/Freg! For those who do not know him. Greg is my sister, Amanda’s husband. We went up to Pflugerville to celebrate his birthday.









Andra got to be with four of her cousins this weekend. Madeline was the first to get to hold her.










Here is Andra with her Melanie and Chase. Melanie is 4 and Chase is 15 months. Yes, he is almost the same size as Melanie and she is the tallest child in her preschool class.






















Harrison wanted to hold Andra and Chase wanted to help. They were watching a&m play tech. Too bad someone had to win that game; but I must say I wish a&m would have beaten tech.

Cold morning

It was in the upper 50’s this morning when we went for our run and to us it was cold! We had to search for something for Andra to wear because most of her 0-3month clothes are sleeveless (for good reason). So thank you Amy for this very cute outfit that is just a little big. I am sure it will fit great in February . This is Andra when we got home from our jog.

Something new

Andrew and Andra tried out the Baby Bjorn today for the first time. They both liked it; Alley was not sure what to make of it.

First UT/ou game

What a great game!!!!

Great because we won!

It was so hard not to scream and yell at the TV like we normally do during good games, but we were good. She did go to sleep for the last half of the 4th quarter so we got to celebrate the win.

Learning to smile

6 weeks

I cannot believe that Andra is already 6 weeks old!
She is doing great and now weighs 8 pounds!

Mass on the grass

Today was our church festival so mass was held outside on the grass in fount of the church. It was not at our normal time so she was hungry and mad when we left. I guess it was good that we just had to walk two block home so I could feed her.

Power to the Baby

When Andra starts to wake up she straitens her arms and legs. But when she is not quite ready to wake up we just get one arm.

New things every day

Our new activity this week has been that she likes to follow things. She has been reacting to Andrew and my voices but now she will look at and follow toys. In this picture she is in her bed watching Bevo dance to the UT Fight Song. This is of’ course when we can get her to be still; she is a little wiggle worm.

Bath time

Andra likes bath time, most of the time. She crys till you get her wet, then she is fine. Thank you Tia Manda for the bath tub!
