Trip part 4

Christmas morning Santa deliver a stocking to were we were sleeping

 and then he delivered a doll under the tree at Heather and Brian's

 we had to get the doll out then and there

 all the kids opening gifts

 then it was off to play outside

Andra is in "glass slippers"

 then to play inside

 and then in the pool

 then "watching" movies

 and time to sing again

Andra had a great Christmas day with her cousins 

Trip part 3

after getting the Heather and Brain's the kids played and then retreated to the ihappy corner

then Andra had her turn in costume

I love their dog Rubert

and learned to ride a big wheal the next afternoon

Christmas eve, Andrew, Andra and I went to mass and then back to Heather"s

Apparently Andra loved the karaoke.....imagine that

and so did Lola

Then Andra fixed her "glass slipper"

Trip part 2

Andra normal wake up time in Texas is 5:30am, but wait we are in California so that it 3:30!

We got her to go back to sleep for a little bit but then by 5am California time we were in the living room trying to find some thing for Andra to watch on TV.

Once we got going it was off to Oceanside.

 We saw lots of crazy surfers

 It was so nice out

 Then we went to Children's beach. During this time of year it is seal breading time.

 There was lots of them

 and the waves were big

Then we went back to the house.  The views are just great! 

 Andra got to feed their bird

 The next day she slept till almost 4 but again we got her to lay down and rest till 5:30am Cal time.

 We went off to brunch and then Andra got to feed the bird again

it was a short but great visit

then we were off to Andrew's sister's house in Long Beach.

Trip part 1

This year we went to California for Christmas.  Now is was a Big Deal in my world.  This was the first Christmas in my life that I was not with my parents in San Antonio.  That said it was a great trip and I only cried on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. 

We caught an early flight out of SA.  We almost missed our flight due to the day we few out was the same day that military could leave to go home.  They were being dropped off in bus loads when we were getting to the airport at 5am for a 6:20 flight.  Even with very good luck (strollers got to by pass the security line and go through family security) we just made it to the gate. The negative is that I did not get my diet coke and Andrew did not get his coffee for the plane trip.

 We got to San Diego and after getting our car went for food, we were all so hungry.

(10:45 Cal time is 12:45 Texas time)

 Then it was off a walk along the beach before heading to Andrew's Mom's house

We tried to keep her up so she would sleep in ...hahahaha

Christmas show

Andra's school had its annual Christmas show. 

Andra's class sang a few songs.

 There was no mick for Andra to grasp this year.

 She did get to be next to Micha one of her best friends at school.

I would also like to point out that Andra is not the shortest person in her class but she is the youngest!

Last Sea World trip for 2012

Andra loved the toy solders.  She walked up and hit a pose, no prompting.

 We enjoyed the "new" shows; some were the same as last year but Andra liked them

 Andra's favorite part of the day was playing and

 and riding rides.  That was until....

she got to be part of the seal show!

In part of the show they needed a new light bulb and Andra had it!

 she screamed "I got it!!!!"

She was so excited and in all honestly so was I.

She talked about it for days.
