Salt Lick!

We went to The Salt Lick to celebrate Andrew, Alma and Tata's birthdays!

We love their bbq! Andra loves spending time with her cousins

Andra ate brisket for the first time. I asked her if I made it would she eat it; she said only if her cousins were there

Rodeo time

After the race we walked around the rodeo grounds.

It was a little cold but it was fun
Andrew explaining why we could not and did not want to hear or pet the one that was shaking his tail....very fast...and yes that is as close to the snakes as I would get

We had to get in a pony ride

Then the petting zoo she had so much fun

We also went and saw the cows and steers, pigs, goats and lambs.

We had a great day!

San Antonio Rodeo Stampede

We did a 4 mile trail/street run. It was fun but cold.

New bike

Andra got a new bike. I know, I have heard so much about the negative of training wheels but she has outgrown her Red radio flyer tricycle and Andrew and I both learned how to ride a bike with them and we survived; right? Anyway, Andra loves it. Her main problem is where to look
when we told her to look up

but mostly she just gets distracted

She had so much fun! She mastered stopping in just the 30mins we were outside. This is good because the girl lovessss to go fast and scare me!

Rodeo day

Andra's school had a Rodeo Day on Friday. They had a petting zoo and pony rides. This is her "Mom I am leaving" She was very excited. They did the same thing last year and all she could talk about was the pony rides.
To my defence, her jeans looked better on the outside of her boots but she said that was not how it went.

January ....

January has been crazy!! So here is a snap shot of the month.

Andra went to a birthday party at Peter Piper Pizza for the first time. It was her first time with video/arcade type games.

She had alot of fun driving with Daddy! Daddy had fun too

fun in the Texas winterand playing in the leavesgot to love Chris Madrid'sThis is what Andra snuck into the basket at HEB ... She will not eat hotdogs so we asked her why ... She said "because they say veggie on them so I thought I would give them a try " ....yep she is 3 .... Andrew and I are in so much trouble (and yes I know it was just word recognition but still)!!! more then likely one of our last bike rides because Andra will not fit in the seat much longer Still a great ride in great Texas weatherWe went to a craft party Once a month the magic curtain gets pulled back and we get to watch ballet class and the girls get to wear skirts. Andra still can not get a "bun" in her hair but we are working on it.

Andra being Andra It has been a crazy month and I think I forgot my camera every time we left the house.

Park time!

What a great day! It was beautiful outside so we went to the park. It was a new to us park. When we drove up, Andrew ran to the big slide and went down, again and again
then to play with the big girls

she was all over scaring mom with learning how

the park had these very cool statues

and then some hay to climb on

and play with

Andra loved it and I am sure we will go again.

New Years day

We went out to Jim and Alba's but I forgot my camera.

Andra had a blast with her cousins. She cried when we left and then was asleep within 10mins of leaving their house.

It was a great way to start the new year.

Sea World New Years Eve

Andrew and I took Andra to Sea World for New Years Eve. They were going to have fireworks at 9pm. Andra had not see fireworks life due to the fact that Texas has been in a drought and fireworks have been banned.

We started off in the "candy cane" area Then off to the penguins and snowman
then to Shamu

popcorn to help keep her happy as we were over 2hrs past her bedtime

then the fireworks started

She liked it, then not so much, then she loved it, then not so much, then she loved it and was sad that it was over
