day off

Andra didn't have school today so we had a play date with a friend from her school. We went to a place called Minitown. Neither of us had ever been there and but Pauline's mom had some free passes. Here Andra made me some tea.Andra and Pauline having fun. Pauline was so nice to do all the work pushing off the floor. Andra was a little too short to work.

The was Andra's favorite room. This picture was before we turned the light "out". When you did the ball started and lights flashed to the music.

Then we went to lunch.

It was great to see the girls play outside of school.

Tia Amanda's goats

We went up to see my parents and Amanda and family in north of Austin . Didn't get any pictures with the family but did with the goats. Andra was so happy to get to see and feed the goats

ballet show

Once a month they pull back the magic current and we get to watch class. On this day, they can wear skirts or different colored leotards.

Siclovia and church festival

San Antonio had its first Siclovia today. 15000 people came out and walked, rode, danced or moved down Broadway. We rode to the event from the house and it was great to get the bikes out again. Once at Siclova, there were different stations along the rout. Zumba, yoga, rock walk ect. something for everyone. We stopped and let Andra play at two different stations. The first one was hosted by PBS

Then we were off to the Church Festival.

We then ended the day at a Birthday Party for one of Andra's school friends.

We all had so much fun this weekend.

Sea world run

The week before I hurt my leg we signed up for the Sea World 5k. Well, I could not run the 5k so Andra and I walked the family walk and Andrew ran the 5k. There were many Sesame street characters out before the race

I am glad that Andra and I walked because they had lots of animals out on the family walk path.

Then after the race and walk there was lots of entertainment.

It was a great way to start a weekend!

Butterfly time

This morning we went to the Botanical center for some fun. They are having a great Butterfly exhibit. Here Alma, Andrew and Andra were walking like a caterpillar

Andra moved up a level at swim class. She was very excited to ring the bell.

She has mastered:
•Rhythmic breath exchange
•Front float
•Comfort on back
•Comfortable independent underwater exploration
•Nose bubbles
•Kicking, face in, blowing bubbles

swimming is hard work
then off to meet Daddy for dinner and Costco
yes she still has her swimming medal on

To add to Andra's fun that day before swimming we went to the Dr for her 3 year check up.

She is in the 50% height and 65% weight!!

33lbs and 36.75 inches

She could pass as an advanced 4 year old or a slightly behind 5 year old on speech (Hahaha)

She passed many of the 4 year olds motor development tests too!

Andrew and I are very proud of our baby girl!!!

new ballet class

Andra started a new ballet class this week. They have lots of rules: black leotard (with nothing on it), pink tights, pink shoes, hair in bun, and no skirt. I did call and say "so, what if we can not make a bun?" They lady was very nice and said she would show me how to make one if we came a little early. Ya, I laughed. When we got there, she did too.

The pictures are not great because I am on crutches and we had to peak in a current as we can not watch during class. Andra is in the center

Last Sunday I went to see the Help with my cuz Steph. When we were done I called Andrew and he said they were up at Howard (school) so I hobbled over thereAndra had fun playing she loves to swing

Andra rode her bike and scooter but that was before I got there so no pics but Andrew said she had fun.
