well, to make a long story short, i am glad we went to Sea World when we did because I tore my calf ...in a few places....
yep it hurt as much as it sounds like.
I was teaching a Zumba class and just jumped in the air; then heard a pop and that was that..

At 8 days out from when i did it, I STILL could not straiten my leg or put my foot flat on the ground. The traditional doctor said said with PT 3 times a week it would be 8-10 weeks to full range of motion, walking no running ect. Talking with someone at work they suggested a new type of treatment called Airrosti. I was not sure what to expect but it is said to speed up healing for sport injuries so I went. I must say the treatment brought me to tears and screams it HURT so bad; just thinking about it, it hurts. After a few minutes i could straiten my leg, I could almost put my foot flat. They taped it with this new type of tape that helps circulation. They said I should be back to teaching Zumba and training for the half marathon by the end of September!!!! I am hopeful.
No picture as my leg is purple, my foot is green and black and so swollen......
